Val d’Isere needs little introduction. One of the largest ski areas in the world, the resort is popular with both serious skiers looking for challenging lines as well as those seeking a lively nightlife. With over 300km of pistes served by 90 chair lifts and an enviable snow record, Val d'isere has to be one of the best places to cut your teeth as an instructor. Wide open groomers, steep couloirs and an insane park make it truly an all rounder.

Off the snow, the apres scene is just as famous as the skiing itself. Val D'isere is home of thousands of seasonaires each winter for a reason.

On Snow

We have partnered with an official BASI Training Centre that has the largest number of trainees qualify in the BASI system. All the training is delivered by highly respected BASI Trainers and you’ll also receive race training from former Olympians.

Beyond preparing you for instructor exams, our coaches will be looking to develop all areas of your skiing – steeps, bumps, racing, freestyle & off piste awareness.

Qualifications

You’ll be training for your BASI 1 & BASI 2 certifications, which will open the door to opportunities to work around the world. BASI is the UK national training and grading provider for professional snowsports instructing and coaching qualifications.

Following your course, we can offer you advice and support on securing instructor jobs around the word. It’s important to note that you cannot work in France with these with a BASI Level 2; you must overcome additional hurdles to work here.
