Revelstoke has long been synonymous with heli-ski and cat-ski operations; powder hounds from across the globe flooded to Revelstoke attracted by its huge snowfall and long vert. Fortunately for us, Revelstoke Mountain Resort now boasts new lifts and some of the greatest skiing and riding in North America.
Ski Magazine described Revelstoke as the 'epicenter of heli-and cat skiing and is like a Canadian Jackson, Wyoming, with a funky and historic downtown, big mountains, abundant snow and a friendly population of happily obsessive skiers'.
If you fall into the category of 'happliy obsessive skiers' (and snowboarders) themselves, you'll fit right in!
Revelstoke Mountain Resort has North America's longest vertical at 1,713 metres. It also boasts 3,121 acres of fantastic terrain including fall line skiing, high alpine bowls, gladed terrain and endless groomers. It is the only resort worldwide to offer lift, cat, heli and backcountry skiing all from the one village base.
Revelstoke lies in the Monashee and Columbia Mountains, surrounded by National Parks, lakes, rivers, glaciers and trees as far as you can see.
Enjoy the downtown which has historic Victorian, Art Moderne, Queen Anne and Dutch Revival buildings that mix in with West Coast architecture on streets backed by Monashee and Selkirk Mountain views. There are funky coffee shops, community festivals such as Timber Days and Winterlude and a really strong feeling of community.
The locals are a mix of timber, construction and railway workers as well as artists, musicians, mountain guides and professionals. All of whom will make you feel really welcome.
We look forward to speaking with you.
