To get the most out of our coaching and have the most fun on your course, we recommend that you do as much pre-course fitness training as possible. It is a big jump to go from not skiing or riding to being on the slopes all day, every day.

SWAP THE TREADMILL FOR SKIPLEX

As you know, the best way to get ski fit is to ski... and luckily for those living in the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands you can now ski year-round on an indoor slope that will get you seriously ski fit! We're not talking about the usual indoor snow domes, rather a rotating dry slope about the size of a squash court. These slopes can be adjusted (steepness and speed) and, just like a treadmill, you can ski for as long as you like. Needless to say, your legs and core will be in great shape for your course! In the UK, Skiplex has centres in Chiswick (London), Reading, and Basingstoke. PRE-COURSE TRAINING PLAN

After over a decade of experience delivering ski & snowboard coaching we can't emphasise enough how much more you will get out of your Nonstop course if you arrive fit and strong. The fitter you are, the more quickly you will progress and the less likely you are to injure yourself. In order to help prepare for your course we have put together a pre-course training programme. Of course, this is only a suggested guide, not a strict regime! It's designed for those participants who aren't already regularly working out. We are aware that not everyone has access to gym facilities so we chose to develop a guide that incorporates exercises that can be done outside, as well as inside the gym.
