It always adds a positive extra element to the social mix when friends, partners or family visit. We definitely encourage it, and it gives you a chance to show off your new skills!
We would love to help your friends and family have an amazing time while visiting you on course and therefore can organise:
If you have opted for a single room, we are happy for your friends to join you for a $20 supplement per night (maximum of 14 nights).
It's worth noting that all our accommodation options get very full over the winter period so it's advisable to book as early as possible.
BEST TIME TO VISIT
NOVEMBER/ DECEMBER is considered early season. The resorts will be quiet up until the Christmas period when there will be a big increase in numbers. The snow can be mixed – perhaps more like what you’d experience in Europe or the Southern Hemisphere.
JANUARY is a quiet month on the mountains so your family would be able to enjoy relatively empty slopes. It can get very cold though so wrap up!
FEBRUARY is busier but tends to benefit from (marginally!) warmer temperatures.
MARCH is warmer and perhaps quietening down again. As the weather gets warmer the towns themselves start to liven up a bit so there is more off snow activity too.
APRIL is the month for fair weather skiers! Spring skiing is great if you’re not a powder hound and don’t mind a bit of slush. If your loved one are not massively into their skiing and snowboarding then there will be lots of other things going on by this time.
If you’re doing one of our instructor courses then you should discourage your family or friends from visiting during, or just prior to, exam weeks. Check with us for your exact exam dates but as a guide generally exams fall as follows:
