Freestyle Ski CourseBanff, Canada - 1 Week

Perfect Your Silky Park Skills

Banff is Canada's freestyle Mecca. With a world-class park in each of its three amazing ski areas, there is a massive variety of features to develop every aspect of your freestyle skiing. Make serious improvements to your air, grab, rotation, rail and all-mountain jibbing skills.  Spring time in the mountains is when everything slows down and you start to enjoy chilling out in a sunny park, so late March is the perfect time to take a course like this. It's also great for softer landings when learning to stomp those new tricks!

Parks galore! There is so much freestyle terrain to be enjoyed in Banff. We'll give you a lift pass for all three of the local ski resorts: Lake Louise, Sunshine Village and Norquay, each of which takes real pride in producing an epic terrain park.

The resorts' competition with each other works in our favour! There's such a massive variety of kickers, rails, boxes, hips, spines and other kooky features, your tricklist will just grow and grow.

With 20 hours of focussed training per week, our specialist freestyle junky instructors will push you through boundaries and allow you to see the park with a whole new level of confidence.

Training will be catered to your ability, so don't worry if you've never even felt air underneath your skis, we'll soon set you straight! And if you're ready to perfect your 720s, our coaches will see you stomping them regularly! Whatever you're achieving, there will be a professional photographer there to capture it all.

Freestyle skiing always seems to go hand in hand with next-level partying. And you're sure to build up an appetite for a party after spending all day in the park. There's no better Canadian town to hit on a night out than Banff. It has a legendary fun and friendly vibe in its abundance of bars, clubs and restaurants.

Staying at Irwin's means you are just a short walk from the heart of the action. Along with your coursemates, you've got a ready made group to hang out with.

Our accommodation at Irwin's Inn is only a stone's throw from the bustling town centre of Banff, with its variety of shops, bars and restaurants. You'll feel at home in no time with your own queen sized bed, en suite bathroom and cable TV, along with access to a hot tub, gym and swimming pool.

A Typical Day Lap Banff's three awesome parks, with each day bringing new skills, new tricks, and new experiences.
Draw the curtains to the sun rising on Banff’s awe-inspiring mountains. Retrieve jaw from floor and get ready for another epic ski day.
Swap stories on last night’s adventures as you fuel up on breakfast. Then ride the bus to one of three local ski resorts. Blast a warm-up lap before the coaching starts.
Meet your freestyle ski coach for another day being taught and inspired. Focus on a specific skill or trick whether it be spinning off kickers or sliding boxes and rails.
After lunch with friends on the sun patio, head back up to the park. The snow has softened and you’re feeling confident. Time to stomp that new trick. Boom!
Refresh those aching muscles with a well-earned hot tub before joining your mates for dinner and drinks. Recall those stacks as well as the stomps.
Hang out in the common room watching footage captured in the park earlier. Enjoy a couple of pre drinks while playing table tennis and table football.
Head out into Banff’s buzzing nightlife. Take in some of the pumping bars before hitting the Sasquatch. Dance the night away and dream about re-living this day again.
