11 week
Whistler Snowboard Instructor Course
Our 11 week snowboard instructor course is the most established and popular programme of its kind. Combine that with awesome ski area and pumping towns of Whistler Blackcomb and you’ll be in for a very special season!
We have been running 11 week snowboard instructor courses since 2002 and have used our wealth of experience to create a programme that transform your riding and train you to be a globally recognised snowboard instructor. We’ll also make sure that you have an amazing time, experiencing the wonders of Canadian mountain life!
The very best training. We have selected a team of the very best high level instructors, who will spend over 220 hours on the slopes with you and plenty more off it! They’ll refine every aspect of your riding so that you can explore every corner of this amazing ski area with the confidence and riding style of a pro.
Becoming a snowboard instructor. Learning to ride like an instructor is a large part of the course and is, of course, a lot of fun! But we’ll also make sure that you can pass on your snowboarding skills to others in readiness for CASI Level 1 in week 5 and CASI level 2 towards the end of the course. These qualifications are recognised and highly respected around the world, so with these under your belt you’ll be ready to apply for you first instructor job.
Whistler is renowned for its enormous area and incredible infrastructure, with an hourly lift capacity is 61,407 people!
More than just an instructor course. We pride ourselves on providing the ultimate season experience, and our local course host will make sure that you enjoy the very best of mountain life. As well as regular social activities, there will be plenty of really special experiences that you will be able to use your “Activity Credits” on. You’ll have the opportunity to try cat-boarding, split-board touring, dog-sledding, snowmobiling and loads more!
The very best accommodation. The location of our accommodation at the Coast Blackcomb Suite is second to none. It’s right by the side of the piste, so you just need to roll out of bed, strap in and you’ll be away for the day! You’ll stay in a two bedroom apartment, with its own kitchen and living area. Plus there are two outdoor hot tubs, a swimming pool and gym on site. Course accommodation really doesn’t get better than this!
