8-12 week
New Zealand Ski Instructor Course
It’s well known that spending a winter season in New Zealand is a stunning and amazingly cultural experience, but on top of that there many other reasons to take this very special ski instructor course.
Ski the best off-piste terrain in the southern hemisphere
We’ve chosen Porters ski resort as the base for this course, giving you access to the best off-piste and freeskiing in New Zealand. Porters itself has some excellent cruisey runs that are perfect for training drills and is also the home of two of the longest and steepest in bounds off-piste runs in the Southern Hemisphere. From your base, you’ll also have easy access to the exciting “Club Field” region of New Zealand. You’ll make regular road trips to explore 6 of the Club Fields, all renowned for their challenging ungroomed terrain and quiet slopes.
