Trained by the best to be the best
Nonstop are renowned globally for producing excellent Level 2 ski instructors. We do that by providing an amazing experience for those on our courses. Over six weeks, you’ll get focussed training and direction from the most respected instructors in the business. Your all-mountain skiing technique will massively improve, as you spend every day exploring the epic terrain of Fernie Alpine Resort. Watch this introduction to some of our Fernie instructors.
The perfect playground for trainee ski instructors
Fernie Alpine Resort has so much going for it; there really isn’t a better place to train for your CSIA Level 2. It combines five bowls each with a massive amount of ungroomed “steep and deep” terrain. Average snowfall is unbelievable and makes it Canada’s “home of legendary powder”! The fun doesn’t stop off the mountain. This traditional Canadian town has a welcoming and friendly vibe, while the bustling bars and restaurants of downtown Fernie are always great for a night out.
What to expect from CSIA Level 2
For CSIA Level 2 you will need to demonstrate a high level of skill while skiing a variety of terrain and snow conditions. You’ll also need to demonstrate and teach to intermediate skiers; so you’ll have a good technical understanding of skiing and the ability to plan and deliver lessons. Fear not though – our instructors will spend six weeks working on your technique, while you have fun skiing the best terrain in Fernie, and teach you how to pass on these highly refined skills.
Make yourself at home in the Red Tree Lodge
