3 week
Performance & Development Camps in Fernie
Come and experience the very best that Canada has to offer. With three weeks of Nonstop tuition and guidance, your ski or snowboard skills will improve massively, allowing you to truly enjoy every corner of one of the world’s best powder-heavy resorts.
Three weeks of progression will take you to whole new levels
It’s very hard to make progress when you only ski or snowboard for one week at a time. You spend most of the week getting your stamina and skill back, then by the time you begin to make some progress it’s time to head home again! With our three week courses, our focussed instruction will ensure that you push through the boundaries that have always stood in your way. We are experts at taking skiers and snowboarders to new levels, and we love showing you how to enjoy your newly refined skills!
Join a group to suit your standard
We know that the best way to learn is to ski or ride with people of similar ability to you. You can then move at the same speed and take on terrain that provides a challenge for you all. Being one of our most popular camps means we have the ability to split our camps into several groups of varying ability. There are broadly two groups in our camps:
Development camps
These are for those who are relatively confident on the piste, but want to tighten up their technique and learn how to handle powder and bumps.
Performance camps
These are for those who already have off-piste experience and want to hit the best parts of the mountain from the beginning, while tightening up their higher-end technique.
Become comfortable with your surroundings
All too often people miss the best areas a mountain has to offer because they either don’t have enough time to explore, or don’t have the confidence to venture too far from the beaten path. Our coaches love to explore and show you their favourite spots on the mountain – yes they have the best job in the world! Over the course of this three week camp you’ll surprise yourself by hitting challenging terrain with a whole new level of confidence.
Go one-on-one with the pros
New to the program, you will now benefit from two one-on-one private lessons with a top level instructor. Getting undivided attention from a coach can really help you crack even the toughest of bad habits and we have seen some real 'eureka' moments since introducing these sessions in 2009.
Fernie is a dream resort

Fernie has the largest ski area and the longest vertical in the Canadian Rockies and is famed for its powder and consistently good conditions. Combine that with exciting freeride terrain and there's no doubt that this is a dream ski and snowboard destination. On top of that, downtown Fernie is an amazing old Canadian mining town, with a fun and friendly vibe. There are plenty of bars, shops and restaurants to keep you entertained.
Great accommodation and facilities
Back in 2007 we acquired our very own hotel and quickly set about a full refurbishment and design change. The Red Tree Lodge is now the perfect home and operational centre for our instructor courses and camps, with comfortable, spacious rooms and great facilities, including a games room, bar, restaurant, sauna and hot tub. For those looking for a little more personal space we even have houses available located close to the lodge.

Dinners
Our three course dinners are provided 3 nights per week in our own restaurant at the Red Tree Lodge. This enables you to explore Fernie's other restaurants or use the self catering facilities on the other nights.

We run an airport shuttle service between Calgary and Fernie on the course dates which coincides with our selected group flight option. If you're making your own way to Canada you're welcome to join our transfer if it's convenient for you. Alternatively there is a public bus that you'll need to book in advance. Further details will be included in the Info Packs we provide before the course.
7 day shuttle to resort
