Snow Safari Road Trips

There are so many resorts in the world but so little time! With our Snow Safaris, you’ll be able to squeeze many holidays into one by experiencing several resorts in a single holiday.

Join a one or two week road-trip and see the best of Western Canada

Kicking Horse powder skiingWestern Canada is world renowned for its epic terrain and copious amounts of powder – it’s no surprise that 90% of the world’s Cat and Heli skiing operations have set up shop here! But choosing where to go can be tricky. With these unique ski and snowboard holidays, you won’t have to rely on guess work; we’ll take you on a road trip of a lifetime around our favourite resorts in the world.

Two amazing itineraries:

Snow Safari 1 & 3

Red Mountain snowboarderThe “Powder Triangle” sits in the heart of BC, Canada, and is renowned for producing massive amounts of dry fluffy powder. There’s a technical meteorological reason why those snow clouds seem to stick over this area, but we won’t bore you with that, all you need to know is we’ll take you to four legendary “steep and deep” resorts in two weeks and show you the very best stashes! Come and join us on Snow Safari 1 to visit Fernie, Red Mountain, Revelstoke and Kicking Horse. Please note we only run one of these trips per season.

Snow Safari route 2 - Banff, Kicking Horse, Revelstoke, Sun Peaks and Whistler

skiing Sun Peaks (Photo: Adam Stein)Our “East to West” tour starts and ends with the titans of North American skiing. Banff’s Lake Louise and Sunshine Village will wet your appetite for the trip, with stunning views over Alberta’s Bow Valley. You’ll then move on to the powder heavy free-riding resorts of Kicking Horse, Revelstoke and Sun Peaks, where our local guides will show you all of the best spots. The only way to end such a trip is in the mighty Whistler. You’ll be spoilt for choice with a massive ski area, pristine pistes, immense parks and off-piste terrain to die for!

Improve your technique along the way

Read mountaing snowboard instructionOn top of all the other great stuff included in the package you also get 3 days of tuition per week with highly qualified and experienced Canadian instructors. Unlike standard ski school lessons, our Snow Safari guided tuition maintains the focus of mileage, so you can get great tips and advice on your technique all the while exploring as much terrain as possible. Experience has told us when it comes to refining your skills there really is no better way to learn!

"This truly was one of those once in a lifetime trips. Canada has to be one of the best places to snowboard in the world, the scenery is breathtaking and the people extremely friendly. To mix in four resorts in two weeks was a bonus as you get to experience different conditions and terrain. Our guide was amazing and added to the whole holiday experience. I would recommend anyone to do this trip without hesitation. Sometimes I just sat at the top of a mountain and just gazed out over the Rockies, it truly is an amazing view."
