Snow Safari Road Trips
There are so many resorts in the world but so little time! With our Snow Safaris, you’ll be able to squeeze many holidays into one by experiencing several resorts in a single holiday.
Join a one or two week road-trip and see the best of Western Canada
Western Canada is world renowned for its epic terrain and copious amounts of powder – it’s no surprise that 90% of the world’s Cat and Heli skiing operations have set up shop here! But choosing where to go can be tricky. With these unique ski and snowboard holidays, you won’t have to rely on guess work; we’ll take you on a road trip of a lifetime around our favourite resorts in the world.
Three amazing itineraries:
The “Powder Triangle” sits in the heart of BC, Canada, and is renowned for producing massive amounts of dry fluffy powder. There’s a technical meteorological reason why those snow clouds seem to stick over this area, but we won’t bore you with that, all you need to know is we’ll take you to four legendary “steep and deep” resorts in two weeks and show you the very best stashes! Come and join us on Snow Safari 1 or 3 to visit Fernie, Red Mountain, Revelstoke and Kicking Horse.
Our “East to West” tour starts and ends with the titans of North American skiing. Banff’s Lake Louise and Sunshine Village will wet your appetite for the trip, with stunning views over Alberta’s Bow Valley. You’ll then move on to the powder heavy free-riding resorts of Kicking Horse, Revelstoke and Sun Peaks, where our local guides will show you all of the best spots. The only way to end such a trip is in the mighty Whistler. You’ll be spoilt for choice with a massive ski area, pristine pistes, immense parks and off-piste terrain to die for!
Our Powder Highway Express tour give's you the oportunity to visit two British Columbia gems in just one week. Both Fernie Alpine Resort and Kicking Horse are renowned for their awesome snow conditions, as well as fun challenging terrain. Both resorts are now part of Resorts of the Canadian Rockies and are available on the same lift pass, so this tour is the perfect way to get between and stay at both of the resorts.
Improve your technique along the way
On top of all the other great stuff included in the package you also get 3 days of tuition per week with highly qualified and experienced Canadian instructors. Unlike standard ski school lessons, our Snow Safari guided tuition maintains the focus of mileage, so you can get great tips and advice on your technique all the while exploring as much terrain as possible. Experience has told us when it comes to refining your skills there really is no better way to learn!
Relax and enjoy the experience with everything organised for you
The host with the most
Each of our Snow Safari tours come with an experienced tour host and they are there to ensure you have a fantastic time on your trip. They will drive you between resorts, ensure all your lift passes are in order, prepare your daily breakfasts and even be your guide for some of your time on the mountain.
Our package
The logistics of visiting so many places in such a short time are complicated to say the least, so let us take care of everything. We arrange all your accommodation, lift passes, transport, guided tuition and even breakfast every morning, so you can have a stress free time exploring the very best terrain at each resort.

Included:
Transport between towns, resorts and airport

Professional coaching
We provide six days of coaching on the two week tours and four days of coaching on the one week tours. The groups are typically around five or six people per instructor (max 8). If there is an ability split we may decide to split the instruction into half days so that you receive coaching in very small groups with people of a similar ability to you.
Daily breakfasts
24 hour staffing
Optional Extras:
Flights (from £600)
We arrange return flights for those travelling between the UK and Canada. Flights cost from £600. You can opt for a flight on your booking form. If you arrange your own flight you can meet us at the airport for the group transfer bus to the resort. Please contact us with any questions.
Cat-skiing ($430/£250 approx)
The day cat-skiing is a highlight of most people's trip. Somewhat similar to heli-skiing, it involves a whole day of skiing or riding fresh powder in the backcountry getting rides to the top of the mountain in a cat (aka 'piste basher'). Good times guaranteed!
Not Included:
Travel insurance
We can advise you on this when you book.

If you don't yet own ski or snowboard equipment it tends to be cheaper to buy rather than rent. Skis, bindings, poles and ski boots range from $1,100 (£700 approx) - $2,800 (£1,800 approx). Snowboard, boots and binding usually cost slightly less.
