This ski course enables you to gain your NZSIA Level 1 & 2 which are internationally recognised qualifications that will open up a world of opportunities to instruct around the world.
NZSIA Level 1 + 2
The New Zealand SnowSports Instructor Alliance is the official ski instructors qualification and qualifying body for New Zealand. It is recognised internationally for its high standard of skiing, ski teaching and modern skiing progressions.
The level 1 & 2 certification will allow you to teach from absolute beginners through to intermediate and advanced skiers. The level 2 is your passport to work globally in some truly world class resorts!

Part of what makes our programme unique is the high level of 'rookie' instructor experience you will gain with the Porters ski school. Unlike other large scale operations in New Zealand where gaining experience and standing out can be near impossible, you will have multiple opportunities to get involved with real lessons and assist fully qualified instructors as they teach skiing to members of the public.
Many of our past clients have done so well as 'rookie' instructors that they have been invited to return to Porters as fully qualified instructors the following season!
