New Zealand is a truly spectacular country and over the years it has established itself as the extreme sports capital of the world. With some of the most varied and challenging free-ride terrain in the Southern Hemisphere, we couldn't think of a better location for our 12 week ski instructor course.

The majority of your training will take place at Porters resort but you will also spend time training at not one, not two, but six different club fields! These areas might not have fancy lifts with cushions and bubbles but what they do have is some of the most rugged and exciting free-ride terrain in the world!

We'll cook so you don't have!

On this course you will receive a massive three meals a day, five days a week and breakfast and lunch provided on the weekends. You can literally sit back and relax when you're not on the hill and we'll take care of everything!

Experience more than just snow!

As well as the awesome training and epic skiing you can expect with us, you will also get to experience New Zealand in a way most other instructor courses can only dream of. Try your hand at surfing, fly through a canyon on a jet boat, hike on ancient glaciers, experience Rugby (kiwi style) and much more. Plus gain qualifications in avalanche awareness; it wil boost your CV and it will make you a safer mountain user!

Who's this course for?

If you are looking for a training course with a difference then look no further. Unlike your typical 'gap' year course where training takes a back seat to partying, skiing comes first with us. Don't get us wrong though, we enjoy apres ski as much as the next ski bum but we make sure we ski hard the next day too! So if you are looking for a truly unique and focused training experience in some of the best free-ride terrain south of the Equator, this course is for you.

This course would suit intermediate to advanced skiers with a desire to train to a high level.
