Level 2 Instructor Course
Gaining your CSIA or CASI level 2 will turn you into the complete instructor. After continuous requests from past participants we are pleased to offer this exciting course for skiers or snowboarders who already hold their Level 1 qualification.
This 6 week instructor course is perfect for anyone wanting to improve their skiing/snowboarding and teaching skills and boost their CV. The CSIA or CASI level 2 training will dramatically develop your skiing or snowboarding and is well respected internationally, enabling you to instruct at some of the world's best ski resorts.
Course objectives
- To prepare level I CSIA/CASI certified instructors to sit the level II CSIA/CASI course
- Improve your personal skiing or snowboarding technique
- Enjoy skiing or riding Fernie... North America's powder capital!
Suitable candidates
You need to be a certified Level I CSIA or CASI instructor and either have teaching experience and/or have participated in a ski instructor training course (such as the Nonstop 3 week, 5 week or 11 week programs). You'll need to be passionate about furthering your instructing skills, enjoy skiing or riding off-piste and challenging the daily snow conditions. The level two assessment is demanding so all participants should understand that personal skiing/snowboarding and teaching development is a result of a certain amount of self discipline and athleticism.
