6 Week 'MTM' Off-Piste Course
The Package
We appreciate there is a lot of information to take in. Here's a list of everything that is, and isn't, included in our package:
Included:
Professional coaching (over 20 hours of all-mountain lessons per week)
Full season lift pass
Helicopter trip to and from backcountry lodge
4 Day backcountry lodge trip (with guided touring)
A highlight of the trip! You will be flown in by helicopter to a remote log cabin before enjoying four days of backcountry skiing or snowboarding. Check out the extra activities section for more details.
Accommodation
In the Red Tree Lodge.
Dinners
These are provided four nights a week; on your coaching days. They are three course meals and are designed to be filling and delicious; perfect after a day on the slopes.
Continental breakfasts
A continental breakfast is provided on weekdays at the Red Tree Lodge restaurant. This is the perfect start to a day on the slopes.
Weekday shuttle to resort
In Fernie we own our own buses and provide a morning and afternoon shuttle to/from the resort each day. The journey time is approx. 8 minutes.
Lift queue priority during lessons
Recreational avalanche course
This is two day course that will teach you how search and rescue techniques; how to understand where the safest places to ski and ride are and crucially give you a greater awareness of safety on the mountain.
Video analysis
This is a great tool that our instructors use to help identify areas that you need to improve on. We have playback facilities on the mountain so you can see straightaway what areas need work.
Ski/snowboard maintenance tuition
Airport transfers (if coinciding with group flights)
We include a shuttle service between the airport and the resort. The departure date and times are coordinated with the times of the group flights we arrange from London to Canada. If travelling at other times or on different dates then we can advise you on the public transfer services available.

10% Discount on ski/snowboard equipment
Available in several local Fernie shops.
10% Discount on meals at resort restaurants
A 10% discount is available to Nonstop clients between at the resort day lodge (cafeteria) and also after 6pm, Mon - Wed, at Kelseys, a smarter on-mountain restaurant.
Optional Extras:
Flights (from £650)
We can arrange return flights for those travelling between the UK and Canada. Flights cost from £650. You can opt for a flight on your booking form. If you arrange your own flight you can meet us at the airport for the group transfer bus to the resort. Please contact us with any questions.
Level 1 CSIA / CASI exam
If you wish to take your level 1 CSIA or CASI there is an option to do so. This costs approx. £250-£270

Skiing/snowboarding kit
If you don't yet own ski or snowboard equipment it tends to be cheaper to buy rather than rent. Skis, bindings, poles and ski boots range from $1000 - $2000. Snowboard, binding and boots are usually slightly less.
Lunches & non-inclusive meals
Spending money
Typical costs: Lunch: $15, Dinner: $15-35. Pint of beer: $5.50. Glass of wine: $7.
