Banff 11 week instructor course diary – Week 2

Here’s what the Banff 11 weekers have been up to in their second week, besides making super-techy video diaries!

Monday – the group headed up to the Sally Borden Sports centre to play hockey after another day shredding Sunshine. The Old Gits put up a tough fight but in the end it was a tie for first position. It was a good turn out with 4 teams of 6. Looking forward to some 5-aside footy on Friday!

Wednesday – First day riding Norquay. Stayed for a talk from the pros and the snowboarders tweaked their set up for optimum riding – a little distracted by the girls flashing on the balcony!!

Thursday – Went for dinner at the Rose and Crown. Celebrated getting through the first week!

Friday – Took the day to chill after an exhausting week. Wanted to have some energy to play 5-a-side against the 3 week course guys that are still in town and now instructing up at Norquay. We lost L

Saturday – SNOWMOBILING IS FUN! Had a great day driving the sled up to the top of the mountain, and when we got to the top we could rip around in the bowl…and get stuck in all the powder, oops! We ate an awesome hot dog cooked by our guide for lunch and I took my sled back to the base in one piece - unlike some who shall remain nameless
