Monday
With only 2 weeks to go before Level 2 pressure was on to perfect our teaching and skiing technique and Mike, Charlie and Annie were definitely on the case. Leaving the meeting point at precisely 10:00 (leaving almost half the skiers behind who caught the late bus – naughty!) we warmed up and headed up to the top of Lake Louise to focus on our turning. Last weekend I was in Sheffield for SHAFF – the Sheffield Adventure Film Festival. As well as some epic mountain bike footage from Whistler, Fernie and Red Mountain, I was blown away by the skiing and snowboarding on show in the featured films. What with watching much of the the European X Games this week as well, I feel as though I’m suffering from an inferiority complex and desperately want to get to Banff in a couple weeks for Nonstop’s freestyle course! … Read more
