Ski & Snowboard Instructor Jobs in Verbier
Have you completed a snowboard or ski instructor course with us? Are you looking to work as an instructor next season?? Did you miss out on a working holiday visa for Canada?? If so then you should be making use of your ‘working as an instructor’ booklet to source the contact details of snow school directors from resorts all over Europe… however Nonstop have recently been contacted by an organisation in Verbier looking for instructors for next winter.
Les Elfes International has been offering educational camps for children in Verbier since 1987 – mixing up language classes with ski & snowboard lessons. The children receive 6 hours of ski or snowboard lessons per day and their abilities will range from complete novices to little rippers. In addition to the instruction, your duties will also involve supervision of the camps so you will be required to help out throughout the camp.
Adam Brook, the activity manager, sent over this description: “a typical working day is from 07h30 in the morning until 16h00, as well as one or two evenings per week. You must like working with children. It seems almost too obvious to mention, but you will be with children a lot! You must be a team player. You will be working and living within a staff group and everyone has to play their part. You must be flexible. The job is varied, things change, and problems occur, you must be prepared to deal with whatever gets thrown at you. You must be professional. Our international clients come from all over the world and expect nothing but the best from us. You have to be prepared to go that extra step to provide a safe and amazing experience for the students”.
For further details on how to apply please visit Les Elfes website here. I suggest getting in touch as soon as possible – don’t leave it too late!!!
If you’ve not yet got your instructor qualifications but like the idea of being paid to ski or snowboard then be sure to check our website here.
