Becoming a snowboard instructor in Canada – New book

PhotographerLast season NONSTOP were lucky enough to have a fantastic photographer on one of our season-long snowboard instructor courses. Kalpesh was rarely seen without a camera in hand and managed to capture some really memorable moments from a winter season in Fernie, BC, Canada.

He’s now publishing an amazing book with his thoughts and pictures for the season. It’s a great insight into a season in Canada and is perfect coffee table material.

To have a flick through the online version of the book, or to buy a copy, follow this link.

To follow in Kalpesh’s footsteps, check out our snowboard instructor courses or ski instructor courses.

Fernie now more accessible by air

It certainly seems like Fernie Alpine resort is going up in the world this year. As well as announcing their new Polar Peak Lift, which gives the resort the highest vertical drop in the Canadian Rockies, Fernie has also announced an increased air service.

From this winter Integra Air will be increasing their air service into Canadian Rockies International Airport in Cranbrook, and to complement that, there will be a new shuttle service running between the airport and Fernie, making it more accessible than ever.

Find out more about Fernie on www.skifernie.com. And find out about holidays and camps in Fernie here.
