Rachel’s 11 week snowboard instructor course diary – the half way point
Here’s another update from Rachel on our 11 week snowboard instructor course…
So, it’s almost half way through my trip of a lifetime and the time is whizzing past! It feels like I’ve done so much yet still have so much more to do – got to make the most of what Fernie and its legendary powder has to offer before the season’s up. Fernie instructor course update from Rachel
Our “Win a Season” competition winner, Rachel, is now a few weeks in to her snowboard instructor course and is settling into Fernie life. Here’s an update from her last couple of weeks:
Two weeks into the 11 Week instructor course and there’s already been plenty of highlights to remember for a lifetime! Firstly, Fernie is a fantastic place to spend a season, both up on the slopes and in town. The terrain is really varied which makes the days fly by as each run is different to the next, especially compared to neighbouring resort Kimberly where we spent the day yesterday – those rolling hills were too far in my comfort zone. Back in Fernie I’m still mastering steep runs but pushing it as each one appears! Down in the town, favourite coffee shops and bars are frequently attended with plenty of friendly faces. Read more »
Win a season competition winner announced
Back at the beginning of may, NONSTOP made Rachel Batchelor’s day, probably year and maybe even lifetime!
When Rachel’s name was drawn out of the hat she became the very lucky winner of our “win a season in Canada” competition. So at the beginning of January, we’ll be jetting her out to Fernie in Canada where she’ll be joining our 11 week snowboard instructor course. Read more »
