Powder, Pedal, Paddle Relay Race – Fernie 2010

In two days Fernie Alpine Resort will close it’s wintery slopes with the hope that Spring is on the way and the golfing, mountain biking, hiking, kayaking and summer sports can begin!

With plenty of snow left on the mountain and the sun shining, it’s the perfect day for the infamous PPP race in Fernie.  Locals know it and love it and if you’re not taking part on your own, you’re in a relay team or spectating.  ‘PPP’ stands for ‘Powder, Pedal, Paddle’ and then they chuck on a 2km up hill run at the end to complete the race.
