OK it’s not the real thing, but if you’re keen to get some practice in then why not pop down to London’s first ever indoor artificial twin ski slope? It’s at the O2 running from late November to January 09. You can even use a snow tube if skiing and snowboarding seem too taxing! The slopes are actually pretty big at 45 meters in length so you should be able to get some decent turns in. To book up visit their website.

Ski & Snowboard Instructor Jobs @ Castle Mountain Resort

Castle Mountain Resort  need 8 full time ski instructors and 6 full time snowboard instructors. They also need another 10 part-time instructors ski and snowboard during the season. First Snow Of The Season In Fernie

It may be a lovely and sunny in the UK but the first snow of the season has already fallen in Fernie. With a record snowfall of 1,118cm last season we are all really excited about the upcoming season. Fernie is scheduled to open on December 6th so that is two months of snowfall till we all get to hit the slopes once again.
