Banff 11-Week Ski and Snowboard Instructor Course ’09 – Week 7

REVELSTOKE BABY!So week seven saw all us skiers begin level 2/All Mountain Pro programme. A pretty chilled week of skiing after the stress of the level 1 exam. Lots of crashes, faceplants, swearing at nature (Dan: ‘F***ing tree!)

Then it was the weekend…REVELSTOKE BABY! Afternoon departure saw us open a few tinnys on the bus and become pretty rowdy by the time we arrived 4 hours later.

We arrived at the hostel, that looked like the dorms out of a horror movie, but inside was awesome! we went down to the guys room that had a kitchen (awesome to be able to cook a fry up the next morning!) and drank until the early hours..sweeeet!

Skiing Revelstoke was unreal! Such a chilled resort and so many nice runs! We went to the back bowls in the afternoon and took some CLAIM movie shots (courtesy of Monkey’s epic camera), filmed some awesome crashes and laughed at Brad being Brad… 100% recommend the trip! Freeekin’ awesome weekend!
