Fernie 11 Week Snowboard Instructor Course ‘07 – Week 6
Everyone has been super stoked with the riding this week. The snow has been good and as everyone has passed level 1 riding has been awesome. It has been a nice change of focus from the level 1 stuff which is basically teaching how to teach. This week we have really just been free riding all week. Fortunately there has been plently of fresh snow to rip! The instructors have broken out of their level 1 shell and really showed us some cool stuff this week.
Friday night we participated in the Griz Days Parade! With only one bus running for 126 NONSTOPPERS it was a riot. There were people on the roof, hanging out the windows and dragging on the bumpers! Everyone thought it was awesome, except maybe the more responsible parade parents watching. The rest of the weekend was a blast, with Griz celebrations all along.
